Day #6 of InkTober – Word Prompt Is Spirit

The middle of the week is here and I started to laugh when I saw the prompt for Day # 6.  The word spirit didn’t bring to mind anything spooky, instead it conjured up the image of a flask of hard liquor.  Yes, it’s been that kind of day and I’m not a drinker.  I sip and don’t chug but you know those days that feel like knots turned inside out?  I guess you know what kind of drawing you’re going to get by the end of today.

Is it really only lunchtime?  Well, I might have to settle for something else cold until later in the day.  For those who want to participate in our word challenge of the day, remember that the word spirit can be a mood, other worldly, or an airline.  Don’t let words frighten you.  If you ever get stuck, then google the word and see what images or links show up.  There’s prompting for prompts too.

Actually, I’m having a sick day today but my mind is wishing I could drink something to calm my insides. I woke up to the yuck. Hopefully, I’ll feel better soon because it’s thrown a wrench into my progress. I also had to get some customer orders out the door from my Etsy Shop at ThinkCutie Studios. I did manage to draw out the next set of prompts on the list but I need the weekend to get caught up on inking.

What would happen if your name was Spirit?  Stores can be named Spirit and there are books that have the word in their title.  Write down what comes to mind and then give your brain a nudge to spill out some more.  There are no rules to this exercise.  Or maybe you need a quick sip of one before you sit in front of your computer again.

Get inking on Day #6 with the word Spirit! Take a look at the visuals I added to image for today’s post. There are plenty of ideas for stories.

My posts are Monday through Friday.
