I think I made a new friend by the end of yesterday. It was pink and in a bottle. This wasn’t the kind of spirit I wanted to drink but it stopped the gurgle. Well, no matter what the day we must continue with our goal this month in prompts. I hope you enjoyed my visual the other day, I’m going to continue with them to help inspire your fingers to go beyond the literal meaning.
Regardless of my body’s own ways the day went on with a few extra naps and before I headed back to my computer. Some of the pressure of deadlines is over as I returned my second edits back to the soon to be authors. Have you ever looked up command keys for changing or inserting em dashes? Well, in the world of editing and publishing these are every day occurrences, it’s their job to knowing how to make the ideas and words of writer’s flow better on a page.
I know it’s a few months away but instead of ringing in the New Year with with the clink of glasses, I might hit the publishing button a few times before midnight. Too bad confetti won’t come out of my computer for us all. One of my fellow authors will release a new journal to accompany his business books, and two others will be able to share a story about living with loss. My next book of inspiration prompts are also in the last stage of finalization. There’s power in numbers. So take time to celebrate with all the other writers this month and next month as we work to finish our next novel.
It’s time for your next prompt on Day #7 and it goes well with today’s post – Fan. Challenge your imagination. Draw, write, and tell a story today.
My posts are Monday through Friday.
