The first of the month is here and we’re moving into a long holiday weekend. Happy 4th of July early! The roads of Minnesota will be lined with those heading to cabins and weekend getaways hoping to soak in the sun. Whether or not our weather will cooperate up here is always a gamble. I’ll be heading on the road too but not to a cabin. Husband in tow, I’m going to check out another large vendor market that’s not way up in the northern woods.
Instead of a 3 1/2 hour drive, we’re only going an hour away. I don’t know if I’ll ever become a reseller but I am looking for places to set-up my market tent in the future. I might have to make a pit stop at the travel plaza just off the highway at the Clearwater, Minnesota exit for giant size donuts the size of plate. Those sweet rolls are calling my name again.
I don’t know if I’ll head to any fireworks displays but I did receive some good news. After jury review my husband and I have been admitted to another fall event. Our tent will go up again and we’re going to spend the next few months creating again because we were also asked to participate in another event the following week.
It will be double duty time again and that journey I wrote about yesterday will happen all over again. I guess we’ll see what my imagination starts to do. I think it’s time to create some new characters and get some new holiday cards ready.
