Manifesting Dreams

This week I’ve turned into the midnight writer again because my fingers just didn’t want to go earlier in the day but I’m still hear. I feel like a Cinderella writer but the difference is that when the clock strikes midnight, I turn into the fairytale writer. Maybe I need to manifest a large increase in subscribers or a money tree in my home with the wave of a magic wand.

My mind is really thinking about what I want out of life this week and ways to manifest dreams into a reality. When I have a goal or dream, the following question I ask, is how can I get there? Then, I let out a huff because I know the reality of the mountain that I’m going to have to climb. I repeat, “Just one foot in front of the other.”

My head goes down so that my focus is on the next step not how far I have to go before I reach my next destination. In doing this, when I’ve reached a peak it’s been anticlimactic because I looked up all of a sudden and then I was there. And because I’m me, I said, “That’s it?” Then, I looked to the next peak.

Yes, you do ask yourself why you started to climb in the first place. The important thing is to set-up mile markers and have mini celebrations along the way. There will always be rocks blocking your way or moments when if feels like we can’t get our footing but you have to keep going because there’s no point in going back.

Wind, rain, and storms will come but then there will be days when the sun is shining down and all you can do is smile. Sometimes muscles will shake and tremble but you keep going. There’s moments when there’s no safety rope or net to catch you but if you slip, you get back up.

Are you still stuck on a small landing and trying to catch your breath wondering if you can keep going? Then, sit down and type. Type and manifest at the same time. Write affirmations until you’re out of that storm cloud. Do whatever it takes. Let that voice out.

Let it out today. No time limit today. Write until your fingers can’t move anymore. Write what you need to manifest your dreams.

My posts are Monday through Friday.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
