Researching Business Tools

After being under the weather for most of last week, I had to use the weekend to focus on my goals for this year. My husband and I organized, threw out some old clutter, and put up a calendar to keep track of our business this year.

I binged on a variety of videos from other people who successfully built up their businesses over time and took notes. I also built up some inventory for my miniatures by making tiny, eraser tip sized mushrooms and Valentine earrings.

The plan is to relaunch my ThinkCutie.com website with new products, take down old product, and introduce the 3D printed items created by my husband. I’m also thinking of adding in book themed products to combine my love of art and writing. My website is currently up but it’s undergoing behind the scenes maintenance. Let’s just say there’s a lot I need to change to get things to look the way I envision.

During my research, I clicked on a video about the trending “CHATGPT”, and AI engine or plugin and I saw someone create a guide for an ebook to show how a book can be written by a computer. While I was watching this video, I was reminded of something an old friend told me, “Do you want to make money, or art?”

This AI is a hot topic in many worlds. Computer generated art and stories are being compared to those of current artists and writers. I feel like this is a Cliff’s Note version of everything. I have one question for you – is CHAPGPT lazy or smart? I’m interested in hearing your feedback.

I’m still going back and forth on my thoughts about this AI technology for one of my Etsy stories. My posts are Monday to Friday.

The link to get a free CHAPTGPT account is at https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt/. I encourage you to also look YouTube for videos on this AI tool if you’re curious about using this to help or create a business.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
