Does anyone know what important day it is today? Cinco De Mayo is today but that’s not the one I was thinking about. Today is the most important day ever because it’s my Birthday!!! Keep in mind that my age doesn’t change when people ask, so you know I’m not in my teens.
In fact, I decided to take off a year off my age on every birthday. That’s right. I am doing a Benjamin Button. The only thing that needs to happen is the body reversal but not past my early 20s. The sad truth is that I know for many of us that what lies in our future is also diapers.
I don’t feel at all guilty about reversing my age when people ask. The only thought that crosses my mind is when is my book going to hit number one so that I can hire that maid and butler to take care of me every birthday? I’m not going to lie if I ever reach that point, I’m may act a little more grumpy and need more babying. Yes, privileged with a little Minnesota nice. At least, I’ll say please and thank you before I ask for something.
It feels so good to write this out loud. I am manifesting my own future in writing. And I’m going to add in more shopping. Don’t worry, my writing will continue but from cafes around the world. I’ll still dream. Most of all, I’ll be able to buy more books.
