The end of April is here and I’m deep in preparations for my first outdoor event of the year. My signing pen is ready for my books that will be on the corner of my table and I’m doing my best to organize the tornado that happens in my studio before a show. While I’m creating new art pieces my crazy mind decided to push things a little bit further and relaunch my online store the 2nd week of May.
That’s right! May 14th means that I’m relaunching my website with new products and guess what? My love of writing and books spilled into my store with book themed creations. There’s nothing like showing off your passion than with miniature sized book earrings. I guess all the hours of BookTok and ArtTok influenced my decision.
My body is tired from the daily brain drain and all the creating but I’m excited for ReLaunch day of my store. Don’t worry, I’m still doing my daily writing exercises, or there wouldn’t be any posts. Like I said this week, writing is part of routine and I can’t go to bed without typing out an entry or two. I also can’t stress starting this habit for yourself enough because all of my blogs added up to over 37,000 words – enough for a novel.
Writing every day also helped me publish 4 new books or journals that help people form their own daily habits to help them stay on track with their passions. There’s no getting around it. We must do the work in order to get published. If you can write for 5-10 minutes, Monday to Friday, you can have a novel.
After all this talking about what I’m doing, I need to ask if anyone else out there has any tips they would like share that help you write every day. Please comment and share with me so that I can feature your advice.
Let’s keep up our writing together. Today, we will write for 5-10 minutes but I would like for you to write down your goals and dreams for the rest of year. Add in actions items of how you’re going to achieve them. The action items don’t have to be grand but something that’s realistic. Just one small action you take in one day to get closer to your goals.
