This week is full of sniffles and coughs but maybe the Hallmark channel is rubbing off on my husband. He tried to get me out of bed as usual because he’s the morning person and there are some who tried to wake me in the past but they mysteriously disappeared. My family never to wake me up too early for a reason.
I dragged myself out of bed and started my routine dreading the white flurried S word outside. Cold, tired, and sniffling I put on my armor. I wondered what I was going to slay today. Well, that depends on the characters I meet as the day goes on.
When the last sock went on and my eyes were dusted with pink I made my way to the living and when I looked down, I had to smile. My husband made a pig face with vitamin gummies, an egg, bread, and apple slices. All the cold thoughts disappeared as I laughed and he leaned over to kiss me.
Some of our conversations in the last few weeks were about creating 3D pigs with wings. Mine wasn’t flying this morning but he looked pretty cute as I started to eat part of it’s face. When it comes to relationships it’s all the little things. Good thing I’m writing this down when it comes to my own and my work.
In fact, I might make pigs fly in a story today. No need to tell my husband but this wouldn’t be the first time he’s ended up in one of stories.
