Today’s word goes along with the beginning if the weekend. In my mind, I picture everyone rushing to and from work with extra speed today because Friday is finally here. I’m even a little faster to get into the things I’ve been waiting to do all week. Maybe other people need a helmet when I step into my car. Look out people! I’m in a hurry again.
I laugh when I think about the TikToks that show us slow to wake when we have “work” to get to but we happily wake on the weekend. Some people say they never “work” because they love their job but notice they still call it a job. All of us need to do something to keep a roof over our heads, and most importantly to watch our videos. Bills, none of us can get out of them.
So go out and brave the day. Put your helmet on, imaginary or real, and push through the day. The Weekend is here!
