The end of August is a few weeks again and I feel a shift in the air. Soon, Preptober will be here for the writing community and I will post my progress. This year, I may also participate in Inktober because I never make anything easy. Knowing what’s ahead my blog posts may go quiet a few days this week.
It’s time to slow down my pace after a another weekend of events. Saturday was another day of hauling tubs, tables, and books to sign. I had no idea what the day would bring, and you always take a risk at a new event. Luckily, collectors of unique miniatures and character stopped by for some chats. They browsed the my books but the crowd that showed up wanted comic related pieces.
My advice, any time that you can share a space with another person who does something different, you might get more people stopping by to buy your books. I know we all want to make the best seller list, but the reality is that you need to let as many people know about you books as possible.
Okay, I say I’m taking a few days off but I’m really helping 3 other people publish their books. I’m in the final proofing stage of their book journey. My goal is to get their books published before I complete my next inspirational journal.
Your only homework for this week is to continue working on your own stories. My Monday through Friday posts will continue daily next week.
