Friday the 13th!

Do you know what day it is?  It’s is Friday the 13th!  This is great for our theme this week because our minds can go wild.  Well, you’ve seen the movies of people swapping into another body on a day like today.  There are also movies with people showing turning into their dog.

Well, what if today our best friend started talking to us out loud.  Would chaos ensue?  We all think their cute but that’s because they don’t talk back like kids.  Remember, their brain may also lack some of the higher functions that our brain is capable of doing.  You thought you’re mom never held back her thoughts, just wait.

What if our phone rang, and it was our four legged friend calling us because we need to pick up dog food on the way home or they were scared to be alone.  You think humans get anxious, well imagine the anxieties of a dog.

You know what some women might fear, coming home and finding their dog sitting next to their husband and not being able to tell the difference.  They both want to know when dinner will be ready, you need to clean up after both of them, and their bonding on the sofa together.

Still not into Friday the 13th?  Then, write from a your pet’s point of view.  That’s right, give your furry family member a voice.  Start their blog if you’re ambitious.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
