This morning I wasn’t prepared for the change from snow to rain and I had an unexpected skating episode as I went out for my dental appointment. How many times does it take to put in a crown? Apparently, it takes 3 times and extra notes from my dentist to get it right at the mold maker.
After this many trips, I was getting all too comfortable in the chair. I did wear my sweats a few times but I put on makeup. I knew it would get smeared by gloves but I didn’t want to scare anyone under the glaring lights. I guess I’m not one to take aging gracefully. My increase in creams, serums, and vitamins might continue as there is no magical formula.
No matter what anyone says, I don’t look better without make-up. Haven’t you seen the magic transformations on social media? Talk about transformations, how is your script going? Do you feel it coming along?
Maybe it’s time for a facelift. Play with what you have by changing character names or think of 3 new problems that the main character will face. Is 3 too many for a Monday? Then, change just one. See what kind of difference a change will make. Changing one element to a blocked story may be all it takes to get your story back on track.

I am past, hoping a facelift would perform a miracle. I hate going to the dentist.
