Pre-Preptober

We are one day away from the end of the month and I’m sharing a sneak peak into next month. Since the goal of the next few months is to get everyone writing instead of reading, my posts will be short and sweet. I’ve been pre-prepping a list to help get you ready to write your novel for NaNoWriMo.

Next month is Preptober and I’ve gone back and forth about doing a daily post or just keeping them Monday to Friday as I usually do. Thinking about my own goals and the need to push myself it wouldn’t be fair to skip a day during challenge months.

October will feature daily writing prompts to get you inspired to achieve the NaNoWriMo November numbers of 50,000 words. Maybe something you write in October will make into next month. Apply the prompts to your stories. Play with your words. There are no rules against getting a jump start this month.

In fact, this next month was created for that very reason, to get you ready for a full month of writing. Look for my daily prompts to get you started.

My posts are Monday through Friday.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
