I’m all rested up from the weekend and ready to go for another week. I hit another goal for myself. I was able to write and post my blog every day last week with a busy schedule. My effort to get my but in the writing chair paid off and my fingers didn’t miss a beat. Practice does make perfect. I would also like to add in that a little self forgiveness also helps because we all have off days.
Saturday and Sunday were filled with trial and error Cricut sticker making. Yes, I was busy making unicorn stickers. I did have to push out my new product launch in my store but all is good because I’m adding the right amount of inventory. Through in a birthday dinner for my husband with friends we haven’t seen in a while, and you have a full weekend. The few hours of sleep help restore my energy levels.
My tummy is filled with the nervous butterflies that happen before an event because of the new items launching. It doesn’t matter what the event is I still have the same nerves. They’ve quieted with experience but I still get them like everyone else. You always wonder, what if no one comes or nothing happens but either way I can always TikTok. And I know that every creator can relate because we’ve all been through the 0 days.
I always feel strongly about supporting writers and artists because of how hard it can be to make a business out of your passion. I applaud everyone who tries. Maybe I’ll make this coming weekend about finding other small business owners in my community to support.
No prompt today. Just find a small business owner and buy a little something from their store.
