Daylight Savings Time

Sunday I woke up and thought I slept in later than usual and it took me until 2:00 pm to realize that we gained an hour last night. Yes, Daylight Savings Time happened without me knowing. The question is will I remember to change the clock on my car dash this year. Maybe I shouldn’t so that I’m really to everything until Spring.

This weekend I treated myself to 90 minute massage and did I feel better afterward. My body was completely relaxed from a stressful week and my body felt so much better. It’s like all the knotted fluid drained out by the end of the session. If only I could do this every week but the husband might say something about our budget. Well, I guess this is once and a while treatment.

Relaxed and ready to take on the world, I went home and finished editing and formatting another Author’s book. Their next release will be an inspirational journal to go along with their motivational books. His goal was to create something to help other people achieve what they want out of life. You can’t do that without knowing where you’re at and what you want. His draft was sent off to him for approval and the plan is to release the journal before Thanksgiving.

One more done and a few more to go. Talk about juggling. All the plates in my one woman circus are going at top speed. I also added some new art pieces into my Etsy shop. If I can manage to add a word count into my NaNoWriMo account, then I’ll feel better about my progress. Choosing what to do and when hasn’t been easy this year but I’m not going to complain because I actually had some good art events and published something this year.

Let’s hope the butterflies settle down after the launch of my fellow authors new books. I get more nervous helping someone else release their books than my own. We all share the same dream of a best seller. I’m crossing my fingers for them.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
