November NaNoWriMo!

Last night, meant a special Halloween Dinner after making my husband run around to several different stores. There’s nothing like a kettle full of cheap beer steaming Atlantic crab. Good thing they didn’t know I purchased after suffering sticker shock of another box mislabeled sitting next to them. I wanted a romantic dinner but not one that replace a monthly bill.

I was in the mood for backwoods beer steamed seafood that take my wallet at checkout. Our champagne flutes unboxed themselves for fake strawberry champagne because the real stuff gives me a headache. One giant can of budlight and a cup of vinegar later the legs turned a moist red. I dabbed the legs with lemon juice and garlic butter while they were steaming. A side of corn, mashed cauliflower, and Italian herb bread filled out small table.

We clinked our glasses once with my Halloween candelabras flickering in the background. I had one giggle while we cracked out crab legs because my husband’s noise while trying to suck out crab meat sounded like a pig snort. I did say I was going for a backwoods beer steam.

Cracking shells for a tiny morsel of meat was worth the work between sips of sweet strawberry. I felt like was going to burst from all the food. A smile a satisfaction settle on my lips as I sat surrounded by Halloween decorations and the beginning of Christmas. I’m always into the holidays early because I make tiny holiday inspired creations for my online story.

Since my husband decided to get his own 3D printer, I’ve filled his to-make list full with requests for miniature doll house size trays, bread stands, and platters for my handmade clay miniatures. I think I’m starting out my first week of NaNoWriMo the right way. I’m surrounded by inspiration and holiday lights.

Look out November! It’s time to get working on my word count goal. I’m registered on the website and set a goal of 50,000 words. I wish all of you inspiration for your own stories this month!
