Day #10 Pick

Nothing like a lazy and quiet Sunday to nap in while the sun streams in through windows.  I feel like a comfortable cat in her pile of blankets and pillows.  Then, I woke and realized I worked in The Art Shoppe today.  While I play shop girl in Minneapolis, my mind went through the 31 days of Inktober prompts, and today the prompt word is Pick.

Since, today should be a day of rest, I’m going to interpret the word of the day as picking what I want to write or draw.  This is going to be my free day.  As we continue to make it through the entire list, if your mind goes blank, then change the word.  Doing something is better than nothing.

I’ve created miniature sculptures when mind mind wasn’t impressed by the word on the list.  Having 31 days of any kind of creation is a win in my book.  Hopefully, my visual with today’s post will inspire you as you type or ink.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
