I hope everyone had time to take part in the writing prompt from yesterday! Yes, I’m still finalizing and proofing my newest book project. The good news is that I’m at the very end stage before the New Release is available and my excitement is growing.
Part of the finalization process includes a request for a cover redo. I wasn’t happy with the color and design. I’m drawn to bright colors and I made a change. To my readers out there, take a look at the new cover versus the old cover. I think my new cover improves my feeling about the Writing Journal. When I’m in a store getting ready to buy a writing journal or notebook, I look for bright or artist covers that make me feel good.
Maybe I’ve watched to many design shows but having something that brightens my day motivates and inspires me. I set the notebook out like a decoration and it makes me more mindful of writing. So, if you’re forgetting to do your daily craft, then set out notebooks all over as a reminder. Use post-its on your bathroom mirror, fill a wall with quotes, or keep a separate calendar just to keep track of your writing.
