Writing Prompt Day!

Before I begin I have to say, “Thank you everyone for all your likes on my website and Facebook Page!” I also enjoy reading your posts!

My Literary Road Trip to Ely, Minnesota ended but I took away enough pieces to fill in details missing from my small town novel. I have a lot of work to do on the piece but having a home to anchor my story is an immense improvement from what I have. I’ll update you as I build my pages throughout the year.

I’m doing double and triple time by publishing my writing resources and journals in the next few months. I got a little carried away creating a journal that will share writing prompts and help organize your pages. My little project turned into a few more journals for other hobbies. My resources are the result of years of practice, and all the things I wish I had inside the writing journals I buy every year. I had no idea how my 30 days of writing prompts to rehab me back to the keyboard would help.

Since we are on a new day, it’s time to share a new writing prompt. Take a retreat into the quiet of the wilderness and walk your own path. Stop and pause at the edge of a lake or stream and listen. Close your eyes. Cloak yourself in nature and write for 5 – 10 minutes.
For my romance writers out there, write about who you meet on the quiet trail. Or, write a memory from your character’s reflections.

Follow as I post on my progress throughout the month and share the experience.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
