Writing Naked Day

Write Naked by Jennifer Probst

Romance writers around the world we have another resource to add to our libraries. Today, I’m sharing essentials from author, Jennifer Probst. Her passion lies in romance and helping other authors through the same lifelong journey. Her book, Write Naked, is her “passion project” that begins before she became a New York Times best-selling author. The goal of sharing her full circle experiences and advice is to help writers at every part of the journey.

Writing and making a career doing what you love is a challenge in the beginning. Jennifer knew she wanted to be a writer at a young age but knew it was going to take experience and work to get there. She graduated in business because like many of us (me too), she also knew she had to pay bills. Her beginning was before social media. Believe it or not she started with Writer’s Digest as her go-to resource because back then you didn’t dare write a letter to another letter.

Her book is about raw emotions, an honest voice, an honest journey, and never giving up on her dream. She goes over her routine to stay on track and what to do when she had blocks. One other important part is she talks about creating your own promotional team, one aspect that many of us may not enjoy but it’s absolutely necessary.

Her main point is that she still remains a student and always feels like she’s learning, and sometimes she feels like she’s starting over with every new novel. Bring your own journey full circle with her and together we’ll get there.

And if you need to, sit in your chair and write naked – interpret that any way you desire.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
