Lazy Sundays

The buzz of people seeking a good meal is all around me as they enjoy the freedom of Sunday. Just one more day to relax, shop, and not cook at home. Spending time enjoying what you like is my idea of a lazy Sunday.

As an artist and writer, I’m spending today volunteering at The Art Shoppe in Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis. Some of my children’s books are on the shelf with my miniatures.

Quiet moments turn into people shopping and a slice of pickle pizza. I wanted something salty for lunch today. I’m doing my best to stay off my phone unless I’m blogging or posting.

Some people here are from out of town and some are locals treating themselves to a day out of the house. I’m looking for a prompt as my eyes wander. I think I might try something sensory today.

Our prompt is going to be about the smell of warm pizza crust. Write for 5-10 minutes.

My posts are Monday to Friday.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
