Hazy Days

I was driving around yesterday to get some errands done and I felt like I was living in Los Angeles. The drift of smoke from Canada came down our way and I finally know what it’s like to live with big city smog.

The lighter haze earlier in the week did have me wondering if I needed glasses but the headlines of all the bordering states are the same this week. Smoke walls are descending from the north to the south. My brain immediately went to all the new stories that this could create. Fiction could take all kinds of twists with moving walls of smoke.

You guessed what’s next. It’s time to fit in a prompt before the weekend is here. Write about moving smoke for 5-10 minutes.

My posts are on summer mode and will be a few times a week.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
