Yesterday, I opened the door and was greeted by sunshine and bright pink flowers in the morning light. All the way down the street I was showered with tiny white and pink flower petals. Tree buds shed more of their layers to uncurl in the warmer weather and I wondered if someone waved a wand to wake nature up in Minnesota. Maybe I was too busy running around and getting errands done to notice the changing of the season.
Today, is about slowing down and taking a moment to consciously notice everything around you. Enjoy a quiet moment today. Clearing the rushed thoughts in our brain may help before we move onto the next chapter. Besides our job every day is to leave our minds empty and hungry for the next day. Wind down by pausing.
I may take a few more moments today to celebrate because it’s also my birthday. Some cultures embrace aging but I decided to subtract a year from my age from now on. I’m not blowing out any candles here.
I wish you all moments to remember and embrace today!
