Day #8 of NaNoWriMo – Week one is done!
The first week of my new challenge was harder than I thought it was going to be. There were moments where I did everything but write.
The important thing is that I sat down again and hit the keyboard again. Being an author is more than a full-time job.
Yesterday, I had trouble getting started. So, I wrote a post to myself to talk about my new story and it helped me focus. I may also have the beginning of a new query letter.
Week #1 was about creating a daily writing discipline.
Let’s hope week #2 will help me focus more on character development.
