Day #7 of NaNoWriMo

The beginning of NaNoWriMo was a set of rushed keystrokes bursts.  I had to return to the beginning and storyboard my main characters.

Imagine a young woman who enters into a small town in the Midwest searching for her missing father.  How many secrets could there be in a town that doesn’t reach the population of 4,000?

Her father hasn’t answered her calls and missed her graduation.  So she decides to do what her genius father always taught her –  do her research.  She applies for an open position the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota.

In order to find out the truth, she make her appearance in disguise.  She puts on her own Clark Kent glasses and uses her semester of method acting class.  It’s time to be the character.  All of her preparations to be nerdy, research assistant went according to her plan, until she ran, literally ran into her new boss.

Dr. Michael Wolf looked like any woman’s kryptonite.  And he had a voice that melted every woman’s heart around him.  He was the one temptation that threatened her investigation of her father’s disappearance.  She couldn’t trust anyone in this town until she found her answers.

The more she tried to push him away, the more he tried to distract her.  Was he the reason her father vanished into thin air?  All she knew, was that getting closer to him was crossing the line of danger.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
