Day #27 of NaNoWriMo

Day #27 of NaNoWriMo

Thanksgiving night turned into midnight oil again.  My fingers were flying and I crawled to bed.  Do you ever have one of those nights when you wake up and decide that you might undo all the typing of the night before?

Well, that was me.  Normally, I’m all about writing raw and editing later but my character dialogue felt flat last night.  The action scene that I planned took a detour like the characters on their road trip.  My idea of creating memories or stops along the way didn’t type out the way I intended and my first idea holds strong enough to wake me up.

Today, I will spend time fixing the chapter for more suspense and less dialogue.  I want the beginning to have action and get reader’s mind pumping in more than one way.
Wish me luck.

Next month, I’m taking my NaNoWriMo novel and taking MasterClass with other best selling authors.  Look for my review and progress as we move into December.  Sign up with me on Black Friday – they’re giving away a free subscription for a year that you gift a fellow writing buddy https://www.masterclass.com/.  That is one of my Christmas gifts to someone this year.

I’m an author in Minnesota who started out writing and illustrating Children’s books. I’ve published poetry and adult Romance Novels. I created my website and social media to reach out to other writers because the process can be lonely. I wanted to reach out to readers, writers, and those with a dream of finishing “that” novel. I share the advice of other writers and the tools I use to create my stories.
