Friday the 13th should be filled with all kinds of stories that go against the rules of what is normal. Oddly, I’ve found this day to be lucky unlike the superstitions. Maybe it’s a casino or lottery ticket day.
Then, I remember it’s a Christmas make-up day tomorrow for my brother, his wife, and my nephew. Our gathering this year was quiet and small but I was happy that we got together at all this year. There’s been a lot of going to things this past year because the event wasn’t cancelled.
Maybe I can convince the husband to go out shopping tonight. I know that he’s going to tell me that we already went shopping and got presents but I might get a yes with the promise of dinner out. There’s a new sushi restaurant with conveyer belts and robot drink servers that we like. He gets something he likes and I get something I like.
I also get to wander into the local book store that’s inside the mall. There’s a few books that I want to look at the start of this year. If I reach my destination, you’ll see a TikTok. If not, my husband will be making dinner.
Until next week! My posts are Monday to Friday.
